Message Brakes. Probably cant be stressed enough. Better braking will make you faster. There are a few routes you can take. Nixit swears by his stock setup, , others have upgraded to brembo, wilwood, stoptech and ap. Any of those will be sufficient for you. Couple your braking system w/ SS Lines (stoptech or goodridge), 300 Degree master cylinder brace (not necessary, but for 35 or whatever it is, its a nice mod), Fluid; if you can afford Castrol SRF, get it. Otherwise, I would suggest motul 600 for heavier track use and superblue for light track/ street use. Pad selection is also critical. For track use only, go w/ hawk blues. Just swap them in there when you get to the track, and make sure that you bed them correctly.

If you are looking to get a steering wheel, seats, harnesses, helmet, gloves, shoes, etc, go to [ www.midatlantictrading.com ] Thats a sparco dealer here in nj that offers ecza members a discount. I get all my stuff through them. Speak w/ Rick.

Suspension. Almost a no brainer. Go to splparts.com Seriously, anything you need/want to upgrade your suspension with, they carry. Kuah will point you in the right direction with whatever budget you are dropping on suspension.

Hp. A simple exhaust and intake setup along w/ a pulley would be a good start. Gobs of hp is not necessary. You'll realize that when you see miatas passing ferraris.

It is ridiculous claiming that video games influence children. For instance, if Pac-man affected kids born in the eighties, we should by now have a bunch of teenagers who run around in darkened rooms and eat pills while listening to monotonous electronic music.
